 Unadilla Christian Church Circle met at Lois Ebert's home on Thursday
evening, March 11. There were 9 members answering roll call.
Minutes were read and approved. Jean Lucas gave the Treasurer's
report. Sandi Kimbell and Brenda DeGolyer have been working on
quilt blocks. They want each square to be the same colors, so they will
purchase floss and have a pattern for each person to follow. It was
decided that Circle will buy new faucets for the kitchen sinks. A
Mother/Daughter party will be held May 1st at 4 pm. and a committee
has been formed. Easter breakfast will be like usual: each family will
bring something for breakfast that will be shared with all. The service
will be at 7 am. with meal afterwards. Baptism and conformation will
be held after Easter, a date has not been set.
President Kate Lucas if finalizing the Prayer Chain and was asking for
telephone numbers. Lois Ebert received information on Woodhaven,
a facility in Columbia, MO, for people with mental limitations. It
is supported by the Disciples of Christ churches.
Brenda DeGolyer brought the traveling basket and it was won by
Jeanie Steinkuhler. Lois gave devotions and read a poem on "Hugs".
She also served a very good dessert.
