Thank you so much to Irene Rodaway for her donation of

historical items for the History Room - it is

SO appreciated!

Do you remember seeing the drone flying over the

Groundhog Day Parade? Here's the link - enjoy!

Stamp collectors are being heard from again. The Nebraska

Statehood stamp showing a cow in front of a huge ear of corn

issued in 1967 for 5 cents, is in demand as is the Nebraska

Territorial Centennial stamp showing the Sower issued in

1954 for 3 cents.

Nebraska Stamps_001_500

Wouldn't mind having an example of each in the

History Room! Do you know how many Nebraskans have

appeared on postage stamps? They are: William Jennings

Bryan, Willa Cather, Buffalo Bill Cody, Crazy Horse, Father

Edward Flanagan, Henry Fonda, Gerald Ford, Wild Bill Hickok,

George W. Norris, and Red Cloud. If I've missed any, please

let me know.
