SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING
VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
July 19, 2018
A Public Hearing of the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla, NE, was held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in the Library at the Community Center. Notice of said meeting was given by posting in the three following places with the village: Countryside Bank, Post Office, and Community Center message board, published in the Syracuse Journal-Democrat, and published on www.UnadillaNebraska.com. A copy of said notice was served to each member of Board of Trustees more than 5 days prior to said meeting. Members present were: Dan Crownover, Janet Oelke, Scott Hincker and Lynn Schomerus. Absent and not voting, Dale Stoner. Visitors: Jake Unruh.
The Meeting was called to order by Chairman Crownover. He informed everyone where the Open Meetings Act poster was located.
Crownover opened the public hearing at 8:00
1. Consider the plat prepared by David Schmitz of the legal described as follows:
Lot 1. Unadilla 2nd Addition, a tract of land located in Part of the N.W. ¼ of the N.W. ¼ of Section 11, T.8N, R.10E of the 6th P.M., Otoe County, Nebraska, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of 4th Street and F Street, Village of Unadilla, thence southerly along the Centerline of F Street, if extended southerly, S00° 00 00”E 163.35 feet to a point on the Former North right-of-way line of the Omaha Public Power District Railroad and the Southerly right-of-way of Main Street, said point also being the True Point of Beginning; thence southeasterly along the Southerly right-of-way- line of Main Street, S70° 31’29”E 289.90 feet to a point; thence leaving said right-of-way line and continuing southwesterly S19°39’ 42”W 85.0 feet to a point; thence continuing northwesterly on a line 15 feet northeasterly of the Centerline of the Omaha Public Power District Railroad, N70°31’ 29W 360.57 feet to a point, thence northeasterly N19°24’51”E 85.0 feet to a point on the said Southerly right-of-way line of Main Street; thence southeasterly along the said South right-of-way line, S70°31”29”E 71 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
2. Public comments: No public comments concerning the final plat.
Crownover closed the Public Hearing at 8:10 p.m.
3) Hincker made a motion to approve the final plat and to give Chairman Dan Crownover authority to sign the final plat, Oelke seconded, motion carried 3-0.
Schomerus made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:20, seconded by Hincker.
The next meeting will be August 8, 2018, 7:30 p.m., at the Village Library.
