REGULAR BOARD MEETING
May 08, 2019
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla, Nebraska, was held on Wednesday, May 08, 2019, 7:30 p.m. at the Unadilla Community Library. Notice of said meeting and proposed agenda of then known subjects was given by posting in the three following places within the Village: Countryside Bank, Post Office, and Community Center Notice Board; and by serving a copy of said notice to each member of the Board of Trustees more than 5 days prior to said meeting. Trustees present: Dan Crownover, Dale Stoner, Janet Oelke, Scott Hincker and Lynn Schomerus. Visitors:
Chairman Crownover called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. He reminded everyone of the location of the Open Meetings Act Poster.
Oelke made a motion to approve the April 2019 minutes, Hincker seconded, and motion carried 4-0.
Hincker made a motion to approve the April 2019 treasurer’s report, Schomerus seconded, motion carried 4-0.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The amount of the Keno check was $1,744.35
Water consumed: 697,000; water paid for: 608,000; balance for month:
-89,000; YTD: -1,577,000. Water lines were discussed. Clerk gave everyone a copy of an article Lovell Excavating emailed on trenchless rehabilitation technology for replacement of water lines. Continued discussion of the water lines.
Schoolhouse items: The Library is going to host a fund raiser again this year by having a Memorial Day luncheon in the gym, clerk asked for volunteers from the Board to help set up and tear down.
BBQ preparations are underway. Amounts of meat to order was discussed. More chicken will be ordered. Schomerus to ask Larry Larson to build a couple of bean bag boards and clerk to order a couple sets of bags.
Quonset Property: Adam Radford continues to rent the west half of the Quonset. The sale of the property has been posted.

NEW BUSINESS
Schomerus introduced and made a motion to pass Resolution R2-19 Authorizing the Sale of Real Estate Owned by the Village of Unadilla, 2nd Addition Replat of Lot 1, Unadilla, Otoe County Nebraska, seconded by Hincker, motion carried 4-0.

Resolution R3-19 for Special Election by Mail to Impose Sales and Use Tax, no action or discussion at this time.

Correspondence: Danae Stoner did some community service at the park for a class project.
