A Public Hearing of the Village Board of the Village of Unadilla, NE, was held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 02, 2019 in the Library at the Community Center. Notice of said meeting was given by posting in the three following places within the village: Countryside Bank, Post Office, and Community Center message board, published in the Syracuse Journal-Democrat on November 15, 2019, published on www.UnadillaNebraska.com. on November 13th. Also posted at the properties of Bryan Subdivision and at the site of Cardinal Heights by Dwight Kastens on November 15, 2019. A copy of said notice was served to each member of the Village Board. Members present were Dan Crownover, Dale Stoner, Janet Oelke, Scott Hincker and Lynn Schomerus. Visitors: Bob Brandt, Evan Wickersham, Village Engineer and Jerry Stilmock, Village Attorney.
The Meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Crownover. He informed everyone where the Open Meetings Act poster was located.
NEW BUSINESS: Open Public Hearing
Crownover opened the public hearing at 7:30
- Consideration for approval of Bryan Subdivision to the Village of Unadilla, Ordinance #271- 19, a Subdivision of the East 187 feet of Lot 2, the North 6 feet of the East 120 feet of Lot 1 & the West 18 feet of the East 138 feet of Lot 1, Block 2, Swisher’s Addition to the Village of Unadilla, Otoe County, Nebraska. Posted at the site on October 28th by Dwight Kastens.
- Application for approval of final plat of Cardinal Heights Subdivision, Ordinance #269-19, legally described as a tract of land located in part of the NE ¼ of the SW ¼, Section 2, Township 8 North, Range 10 East of the 6th P.m., Otoe County, Nebraska.
- Consideration and recommendation to annex the following described real estate to be included within the boundaries of the village. Cardinal Heights Subdivision, Ordinance #267-19, legally described as a tract of land located in part of the NE ¼ of the SW ¼, Section 2, Township 8 North, Range 10 East of the 6th P.m., Otoe County, Nebraska. Posted at the site on October 28th by Dwight Kastens.
Public comments: Village Engineer, Evan Wickersham discussed the final plat and the waivers on Cardinal Heights that was received from E&A Consulting.
As to agenda item 1 above, Crownover closed the public hearing at 7:32 p.m., Oelke made a motion to approve the Bryan Subdivision, Ordinance #271-19, seconded by Stoner, and on a roll call vote: Stoner, Oelke, Hincker, Schomerus and Crownover, voted yea. None voted nay.
As to agenda item 2 above, Crownover opened the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. Crownover than closed the public hearing at 7:40. Hincker made a motion to approve the Cardinal Heights final plat, Ordinance #269-19, seconded by Schomerus. On a roll call vote, Stoner, Oelke, Hincker, Schomerus and Crownover voted yea. None voted nay.

As to agenda item 3 above, Crownover opened the public hearing at 7:53. Crownover than closed the public hearing at 7:55. Schomerus made a motion to approve the first reading of Ordinance #267-19, seconded by Oelke. On a roll call vote Stoner, Oelke, Hincker, Schomerus and Crownover voted yea. None voted nay
Schomerus made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:05, seconded by Hincker.
