VILLAGE OF UNADILLA
REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
October 22, 2020
The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the Village of Unadilla, NE, was held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Community Center, Suite 2. Notice of said meeting was given by posting in the three following places with the village: Countryside Bank, Post Office, and Community Center message board, not published in the Syracuse Journal-Democrat, published on www.UnadillaNebraska.com. A copy of said notice was served to each member of the Planning Commission more than 10 days prior to the meeting date. Members present were Steve Vodicka, Dan Anderson, and Jake Unruh. Absent: Joseph Peterson and Rod Wellsandt.
Vodicka reminded everyone of the location of the open meetings act poster.
Anderson made a motion to approve the January 2020 minutes with the April and July meeting being cancelled due to the COVID19. Unruh seconded, and motion carried 3-0.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Building permits issued/pending: Bruce Meyer, 1300 C St. new house of Bullers. Bruce Meyer 1250 C St., new house of Hein’s, Greg Glathar new deck 984 G St., Jonathan Vodicka new deck at 575 I St., Tom Lewis new deck at 330 10th St., Doug Munstermann retaining wall at 572 7th St., Clayton Lewis new patio and deck at 272 9th St., Shon Ryan new house at 457 4th St., Greg Gathar new fence at 984 G St., Doug Munstermann new driveway and walk at 524 F St., Brad Buller new inground swimming pool and fence 1300 C St., and Dustin Gerdes a fence at 528 5th St..
There were no Public Comments.
NEW BUSINESS
Welcome Jake Unruh as the new Planning Commission Member. Jake is taking Matt Daharsh’s place.
There was some discussion on the Street Project the Village is planning on doing next year. Clerk explained a little about the project and possible replacement of a couple blocks of water line along with the streets. The project is just in the beginning of the planning stages.
Unruh made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Anderson. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.
The next regular meeting will be January 21, 2021, 7:30 p.m., at the Village Library.
