VILLAGE OF UNADILLA
REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
April 22, 2021
The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the Village of Unadilla, NE, was held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Community Center. Notice of said meeting was given by posting in the three following places with the village: Countryside Bank, Post Office, and Community Center message board, not published in the Syracuse Journal-Democrat, published on www.UnadillaNebraska.com. A copy of said notice was served to each member of the Planning Commission more than 10 days prior to the meeting date. Member’s present were Steve Vodicka, Joseph Peterson, Jake Unruh and Dan Anderson, absent: Rod Wellsandt. Visitors: none
Vodicka reminded everyone of the location of the Open Meetings Act Poster.
Peterson made a motion to approve the November 2020 minutes, seconded by Unruh, motion carried 3-0.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Building permits issued in 2020: The following are the building permits that were issued in 2020 and 2021.
Buller house 1300 C St., Glathar deck 984 G St, Vodicka deck permit 575 I St, Lewis deck and patio permit 272 9th St, Hein house permit 1250 C St, Munsterman retaining wall permit 572 7th St, Lewis deck permit 330 10th St, Ryan house permit 457 4th St, Glathar fence permit 984 G St, Buller pool and fence permit 1300 C St, Gerdes fence permit 528 5th St, Anderson shed permit 2021 979 9th St, and Munsterman parking slab permit 2021 524 7th St.

NEW BUSINESS
1. Discussion was held on the streets that are going to be redone for the town this year:
a. F Street from 7th to 9th Street
b. 9th Street from approx. 50 ft West of E Street to I Street
c. 6th Street from G Street to F Street (may do water line)
d. 6th Street from I to H Street (may do water line)
e. H Street from Main Street to 6th Street
f. G Street from 130 ft North of Main Street to 4th Street
Clerk reported that JEO was in the process of mapping and that the USDA is working on all the paperwork that needs to be filled out and filed. Hoping to start on the project this fall.
2. House plans were reviewed for the east lot on 10th Street that Josh Williams and Tara Mueller plan to build. The Planning Commission recommended to the Village Board to go ahead with the plans according to the Zoning and Building Regulations.

The next meeting will be April 21, 2022, at 7:30 p.m., at the Village Library unless a special meeting is needed before then.
