The Unadilla Community Library, with funds from Thrivent Financial, has purchased kids books to give away at the October 7 Food Bank distribution. Saturday, we received the ballots we had requested, in the mail. We dropped them in the ballot box just east of the courthouse in Nebr. City on Sunday afternoon. Hope everyone takes the time to vote, one way or the other!
Thanks to Glenda Willnerd, Gordon Hopp, and Sandi Kimbell for their donations to the History and Veterans Rooms at the Community Center. There will NOT be a coffee in the Veterans Rooms on Veterans Day, November 11.
First snows of previous years: 2017: Oct. 31, 2018: Oct. 14, and 2019: Oct. 28. In discussing how much it has to snow to earn the title of first, Bob's reply was: "It doesn't count if you can't track a cat in it." I learn something new everyday!!!
