Bob Wilhelm reports 101 families were served by the Lincoln Food Bank this past Friday. He would like to thank everyone who showed up to help...many are helpers every month. It really does take a village!

 

 

Congratulations to Jerry and Shelby Wallen on the birth of their son, Carter Jacob. He's a cutie! They're now a family of 5!

 

 

 

Plans are being made for Unadilla Day. We know the Fire Dept. will be serving lunch and there will be city wide garage sales. More details as they become available.

 

 

Congratulations to Jordan Lechner and Nicholas Daum who were married Friday, June 2nd. Such a lovely couple!

 The Fire Dept. reminds you that Burn Permits are issued each Wednesday, from 7 - 7:30 p.m., at the Firehouse.

 

 

 

Our condolences to the family of Frances (Isaacs) Mangan, who recently passed away. She was the daughter of George & Elsie Isaacs, and will be laid to rest in the Unadilla Cemetery.

Friday, 6-8-1923, The Otoe Union:

The southwest part of the county had almost 3" of rain. W.F. Taney was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Town Board. Village bills paid totaled $158.24. Children's Day was observed at both churches. Col. Massie was elected president of the Unadilla Horseshoe Association. Henry Horstman and family moved from Dunbar to Unadilla. (Their house was right east of where M.K. Meats is now located.)
