The weather held off (yes, it was still hot though!) and Unadilla Day was celebrated with city wide garage sales, Fire & Rescue served lunch, and the NMHC Men's club provided a water slide for the kiddos, and hosted the Horseshoe contest.

If you're driving through Main Street you'll see things are happening at the Fire Station. The addition will be a big improvement and give the Fire & Rescue some much needed room. Today they are pouring the footings on both sides of the building.

Catherine (Halberst) Botsford, born 1848, died 6-23-1923, wife of Armead, 9 children, 3 outlived her. She was buried in the Unadilla Cemetery. G.B. White, manager of the Farmers Elevator, installed electric power to the facility. Hazel (Barnell) Stoner, wife of Holly, passed away. Born 2-1-1899 and died 6-21-1923, she was buried in the Unadilla Cemetery. George Lucas struck a vein of coal.
