Friday, 11-6-1925, The Otoe Union:

42 students were enrolled in the High School. "Hallowe'en passed off quietly." Mrs. Beulah Brandt was seriously injured in a car accident in Lincoln. "Mrs. Daniel Stilwell, a pioneer of Russell precinct, died at her home, having reached the ripe old age of 82."
