NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO
Friday, 10-29-1926, The Otoe Union:
"Miss Clara Parker has installed a furnace in her home. She now has a modern home." Richard Lucas, who lived 1 1/2 miles west of Unadilla, was building a bungalow 38' X 48'. Allen Walker of Palmyra was in charge of construction. (Is this the house that is there now?) "Earl McCormick is building a sun porch on the front of his hog house, so the piggies can take sun baths this winter."
