Anyone wishing to donate items for the Groundhog Day

Library flea market table (to benefit the continued use of

the library), please leave at the school before Tuesday,

Feb. 1. This will give us some time to sort and mark the items.

Items already collected: craft supplies, books, quilting fat

quarters, patterns, and magazines. Proceeds will be used to

apply for a matching grant for the Library. The Grand

Re-opening will be 8:30 - 12:30, Saturday, Feb 5.

Make sure you put your name in for the drawing and let

us know what library hours would be convenient for you.

Thanks so much to the Andy DeGolyer family for the donation

of exercise equipment and a TV (you know, so you have

something to watch so your body doesn't realize what

you're doing to it!) Come on up and give it a try!

How much snow did you get Saturday? 7 - 8 inches here.

How many weeks until spring???

***

On Jan 30th, please support local Girl Scout Troop 21

by attending their soup and dessert luncheon. It will help

fund their trip to Savannah, GA, birthplace of Girl Scout

founder, Juliette Gordon Low. The trip is May 30 -

June 5, 2011.

Bob & Barb Wilhelm went to Iowa over the weekend to

visit the Scott Hitzemann family. They didn't get there in

time for the basketball game, but they found lots of other

fun things to do. Grandpa gave lessons on installing

faucets and un-jamming disposals, and then there was a

brief discussion on screwdriver safety (similar to the

"don't run with scissors" safety talk held previously.)
