Norm Duncan reports that the owl rescued had West Nile virus and a
cracked breast bone. It will need to recuperate for another 5-6 weeks
before it can be released.

Marjory Roberts Block. They are a remarkable look back at that time

The ants have been very busy at the Western Wilhelm Outpost. This was a double trail that went from our back door up the wall where it split and one trail went behind the hot tub and one went to the patio door. Such determined little creatures!

AUDITION NOTICE
The Lofte Theatre in Manley will be holding auditions on Monday, 9-5, and Tuesday 9-6, at 7 pm for its production of "Don't Dress for Dinner." The script calls for 3 men and 3 women between to ages of 25-55. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

The Otoe County Genealogical Society will hold its September 8 meeting at 7:00 pm at the Unadilla Community Library at 770 G Street in Unadilla. Nebraska State Historical Society Library/Archives Director, Cindy Drake, will be discussing NSHS "Cemetery Registry Program" that she presented at the State Genealogical Conference.
